1. About the Journal

International Journal of Catholic Studies is a Chinese-English bilingual, biannual, and peer-reviewed journal edited by the Centre for Catholic Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and published by The Chinese University of Hong Kong Press. It is available in print in Hong Kong, China (ISSN 3079-7012), as well as in a free open-access online version (eISSN 3079-7020) at: https://ijcs.ojhhk.com/EN/home

The journal’s content primarily covers biblical studies, theology, Church history, the Catholic tradition, philosophy of religion, and culture and religion.

IJCS does not charge authors any article processing charges, submission fees, page charges, or color figure charges. There are no fees for publishing in this journal.

2. Open Assess Statement

The International Journal of Catholic Studies (IJCS) is an open access journal (eISSN 3079-7020). All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication. There is no embargo period. Users do not need to register to read content. Under our open access policy, any user may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, or use them for any other lawful purpose, provided the original author and source are properly cited according to the journal's CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. This policy is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
